 Literary Sleuth Jack Cashill Says William Ayers Actually Wrote Obama's Book, "Dreams From My Father"

In Jack Cashill's book, "Deconstructing Obama: The Life, Loves, and Letters of America's First Postmodern President," we are left with a very different image from the one portrayed in "Dreams" and by the Obama presidential campaign. When our sleuth has put this puzzle together, the pieces accumulate to reveal an image -- but it is not the one on the box cover. If the fourth estate looked anything like America, the preliminary findings Cashill attempted to share with the press in October 2008 would have established Ayers publicly as the ghost of Obama's "Dreams," and Sarah Palin most likely would be the first female vice president of the United States. Had the press done its own digging and reporting much earlier in the campaign of 2007-2008 for the Democratic Party nomination, Hillary Clinton would be the first pants-suited president of the United States.

Surprises From Donald Rumsfeld's Memoir. Did Saddam Hussein Target His Kids?

Donald Rumsfeld has revealed that Saddam Hussein took out a $60million hit on his daughters in revenge for the slaying of his two sons. The ex-U.S. Secretary of Defense said that the former Iraqi dictator offered the bounty to anybody who brought him both girls' heads. He was given the warning in a October 2003 meeting by which time U.S. forces had killed Saddam's sons Uday and Qusay and his 14-year-old grandson Mustapha. Mr Rumsfeld's comments came as part of a promotion push to accompany his new book "Known and Unknown: A Memoir" which detail his time in office until he retired in December 2006.

Stephen Hawking vs. God

Hawking proclaims two mutually excluding propositions in his book, "The Grand Design" according to fellow physicist Dr. Ben Wiker. On the one hand he declares that all existing theories of the origins of the universe are as subjective as they are non-comprehensive. On the other he states that these theories are comprehensive enough - and objective enough - to prove that God neither exists nor is necessary for the existence of everything else. The problem? You cannot have it both ways. If a theory is subjective it is tainted by having been processed through an intellectual lens that sees only what the viewer is prepared in advance to admit. Likewise, if it is not comprehensive it cannot entertain all of the relevant data and so cannot make comprehensive statements. But the declaration that God does not exist is both an objective and a comprehensive statement. It is -- in this case -- a desperate attempt to escape the prime implication of the Big Bang, that there is out there a Big Banger.

The desecration of the Qur'an at a small Florida church has outraged millions of Muslims and others worldwide, fueling anti-American sentiment that only further strains ties between the Afghan government and the West. Saturday's violent protest was the second in as many days over the burning of the Muslim holy book at a Florida church. The governor's office in Kandahar also says 81 people also were wounded.

Authorities said the leak they identified Saturday could be the source of radioactivity found in coastal waters in recent days. Prime Minister Naoto Kan went to the plant and flew over the tsunami-ravaged coast soon after the wave hit, but Saturday was the first time he set foot in one of the pulverized towns. ...

Fierce fighting raged on Saturday between the rebels and troops loyal to Muammar Gadhafi for the control of the eastern oil town of Brega as the government of the embattled leader dismissed conditions for a ceasefire as "mad." Opposition forces and Libyan troops were locked in intense battle near Brega and the towns of Az Zintan and Misurata, the last major opposition stronghold in west for weeks amid relentless air strikes by coalition forces. "They are asking us to withdraw from our own cities ... If this is not mad then I don't know what this is. We will not leave our cities," Mussa Ibrahim, the government spokesman, was quoted as saying. ...

There are rumors that Gadhafi was born out of wedlock to a Jewish woman and an Italian soldier in a village east of Tripoli, but because of the shame surrounding his birth, the baby was given to a Catholic cardinal who in turn gave the child to the sheepherder and his wife. Seventy-one-year-old Mohamed Yusuf al Magariaf, a prominent Libyan dissident who is now based in the U.S., had investigated Gadhafi's past for several of his books and believes much of what the dictator has told people about his origins is a lie. ...

The last time a Libyan leader traveled to the U.S. and Europe to talk to his international counterparts, he wore desert robes, slept in a Bedouin tent, and vilified the West in incomprehensible diatribes. Now, the Libyan leader holed up in meetings with top diplomats in foreign capitals wears a suit and tie, speaks flawless English, and flaunts a Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. In brief: Mahmoud Gebril is about as jolting a contrast from Muammar Gadhafi as one can imagine. Gebril, 58, was picked by the rebel leaders in Benghazi last month as the interim of their National Council - an attempt at cobbling together a shadow government, ready to run Libya the moment Gadhafi leaves. ...

Noman Benotman, a friend of Moussa Koussa, who claims he helped to co-ordinate his defection to the UK, who now works as an analyst with the Quilliam Foundation, a counter-terrorism think-tank, made it clear that Koussa would be willing to open up to the British authorities about Libya's past involvement in international terrorism, including the 1988 Lockerbie bombing which claimed 270 lives. His comments came as it emerged a key insider in Colonel Gadhafi's regime had been in London this week for days of secret talks with British officials, and more reports appeared about other senior figures in the regime fleeing Tripoli. ...

 Japan says there is no immediate plans to widen the exclusion zone around its stricken nuclear plant -- but concern is growing for the safety of residents of the village of Iitate, Fukushima prefecture. ...

The comments Wednesday could add to the debate over how far people need to stay away from Japan's Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear complex, which was crippled in the country's March 11 earthquake and tsunami. Elena Buglova, an official from the International Atomic Energy Agency, said of the reading: "As a ratio, it was about two times higher" than levels at which the agency recommends evacuations. Denis Flory, a senior IAEA official, demurred when asked whether the agency was recommending that the village be cleared of residents but said it had advised Japanese authorities to "carefully assess the situation." ...

CIA officers are on the ground in Libya, coordinating with rebels and sharing intelligence, U.S. officials say, but the Obama administration has not yet decided whether to take the further step of providing weapons to those trying to oust Muammar Gadhafi. The issue of whether to provide the ragtag rebel forces with arms has been controversial in Washington. On Wednesday, two key lawmakers -- a Republican and a Democrat -- came out against the idea. ...

 AND TEXT. At a press conference in the Foreign Office, William Hague, UK Foreign Secretary, said: "We encourage those around Gadhafi to abandon him and embrace the better future for Libya that allows political transition and real reform that meets the aspirations of the Libyan people." He added: "Moussa Koussa is one of the most senior members of the Gadhafi regime, he has been my channel of communication to the regime in recent weeks ... His resignation shows that Gadhafi's regime, which has already seen significant defections to the opposition, it is fragmented, under pressure and crumbling from within." ...

Mustafa Gheriani, a spokesman for the revolutionary council in its de facto capital, Benghazi, said the rebels were not bent on revenge against the regime's officials but some of Gaddafi's closest associates "have a lot of blood on their hands" and must stand trial. Gheriani alleged Koussa had been partly responsible for assassinating opposition figures in exile, murderous internal repression and the Lockerbie plane bombing. "We want him tried by Libyan people. I believe once we have our government 100% in control in Libya, things are normalized, we want him tried here. I think international law gives us that right," Gheriani said. ...

Since Libya's popular uprising began in mid-February, Col. Muammar Gadhafi has repeatedly declared that this rebellion is different: He is not facing pro-democracy activists who want to end his four decades in power, but Al Qaeda militants determined to make Libya a base for global jihad. "This is the Al Qaeda that the whole world is fighting," warned the Libyan leader, who demands that the Western-led alliance help him fight a common enemy instead of decimating his military apparatus. ...

Defying expectations that he would lift an emergency law that has stifled political opposition, President Bashar al-Asaad instead blamed "conspirators" for sweeping unrest. "We are all for reform. That is the duty of the state. But we are not for strife," he said before the Syrian parliament. "What we should watch out for is starting reforms under these circumstances right now, this passing wave." ...

A Southwest Airlines flight landed safely at a military base in Yuma, Arizona, on Friday with what passengers described as a 3-foot hole in the fuselage of the Boeing 737. "I heard a loud popping sound about three or four minutes before it blew open on us," passenger Greg Hansen said. "(Then) a big explosion happened. A big noise, and from there, you felt some of the air being sucked out. It happened right behind me, in the row behind me and it covers about two and a half rows," he said from seat 11C. ...

Yale is an institution of higher lechery, female students complain. The Ivy League university is under federal investigation for "its failure to eliminate a hostile sexual environment," according to the US Department of Education's office for civil rights. A complaint from 16 students sent March 15 alleges the university essentially ignored incidents of harassment, resulting in the denial of equal opportunity, the Department of Education said. The complaints include allegations that Yale failed to adequately respond to reports of sexual assault or attempted assault and stalking, said Alexandra Brodsky, a Yale junior who is one of the complainants. ...

Jones supervised while another pastor, Wayne Sapp, soaked the Qur'an in kerosene and burned it. "We decided to put the Qur'an on trail," he told Weir. "I was the judge but I did not determine the verdict. I was just a type of referee so that people got their time to defend or condemn the Qur'an." Jones said that a "jury" of people from all over Florida debated the radicalism of Islam, and the "Qur'an was found guilty."

The U.S. is stepping up monitoring of radiation in milk, rain and drinking water, the Environmental Protection Agency and Food and Drug Administration said yesterday in a statement. Radioactive iodine-131 was found in a March 25 milk sample from Spokane that is more than 5,000 times lower than risk levels set by the FDA, according to the agencies. The agencies said the amount was "far below levels of public health concern," including for infants and children. ...

The 43-year-old was from Bellaire, Ohio, was rushed to Wheeling Hospital, West Virginia in a critical condition but later died, officers said. The man was found by health officials sitting in his own feces and urine and covered in maggots at the house on Sunday. Paramedics were called to the home by the man's girlfriend after she found him unconscious. She admitted to medics she had been feeding him by hand since he got too big to get up. ...

As a deadline approaches that could mean shutting down the non-essential operations of the federal government, both sides are weighing the potential impact on their political fortunes. The Republicans are squabbling among themselves over how much to cut from the remainder of the 2011 Budget, the Democrats have crafted a policy of offering minimal savings, as well as a campaign to label the Republicans as Tea Party extremists. Part of the issue that Democrats are labeling as "extreme" are the so-called "riders," such as de-funding Planned Parenthood and preventing the Environmental Protection Agency from doing certain things related to the regulation of carbon emissions that the EPA enacted after Congress failed to achieve it through legislation. ...

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told a classified congressional hearing that the Obama regime would ignore Congress if it tried to rein in the war in Libya.When Rep. Brad Sherman (D-Calif.) asked Clinton during the briefing what the regime's response would be to Congress exercising its constitutional authority over war, the Secretary said Obama would proceed with the war anyway, according to a senior Republican lawmaker in attendance. Apparently the regime has "legal opinions" that justify the "kinetic military action." The Secretary's answer reportedly surprised even attendees because "Clinton plainly admitted the administration would ignore any and all attempts by Congress to shackle President Obama's power as Commander in Chief to make military and wartime decisions." ...

A Brooklyn dentist whose career was ruined after former state Attorney General Eliot Spitzer made him a poster boy for Medicaid fraud will get his day in court, a federal judge ruled. U.S. Magistrate Robert Levy said the false arrest and malicious prosecution claims detailed in Dr. Leonard Morse's $75 million suit should be decided by a jury, a 36-page report unsealed this week in Brooklyn Federal Court shows. ...

Federal Debt Will Reach More Than 100% Of GDP For 1st Time Since World War II Under Obama's Budget

Barack Obama's release of the 2012 budget was met by considerable skepticism, despite administration claims that the proposed spending cuts will put the government on track to half the budget deficit by the end of Obama's first term in office. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 12,268, down five points on a day in which the market traded mostly down as experts sorted through the details of the budget. Almost immediately after the 216-page plan was released, along with a 1,368-page appendix and a third 360-page volume of historical tables, critics pointed out that Obama's budget conceded that 2011 will see the largest one-year jump in debt in U.S. history, almost $2 trillion in a single year. With the release of these documents, the Obama administration was forced to concede that the national debt will total $15.476 trillion by Sept. 30, the end of the fiscal year. The debt will reach 102.6 percent of the gross domestic product, or GDP, for the first time since the end of World War II. ...

National Weather Agency Refutes Gore's Claim Recent Snowstorms Caused By Global Warming

NOAA posted the following article at its Climate Watch magazine: "This is the second consecutive very wintry winter in the eastern United States. Last year, NOAA climate scientists concluded the record-breaking snowstorms most likely resulted from the combination of two natural climate patterns: El Nino and the Arctic Oscillation. In 2007, the U.N. said the Himalayan glaciers will be gone by 2035 due to man-made global warming. Turns out, though, that the claim was nonsense. It was not based on scientific research but on one scientist's guesswork, which was lifted from a telephone interview. New research indicates that half of the glaciers in the Himalaya's Karakoram range are advancing. Scientists from the University of California Santa Barbara and the University of Potsdam, who cited "erroneous reports by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change," strongly suggest that the "settled" science is not so clear. ...

Oh No, Not Another Unbiased Documentary About 'Climate Change'

The "consensus" on 'Climate Change' exaggerates the number of scientists who believe in Man Made Global Warming and it grotesquely underestimates the number who have many good reasons for suspecting that there is far, far more to "Climate Change" than anthropogenic CO2. What's more such "consensus" as there is is an artificial construct. It has not been subjected to the rigour of an open or even semi-open market. It is the creation, almost entirely, of politically-driven funding from US government, from various UN bodies, from the EU, from left-leaning charitable foundations on a scale unprecedented in the history of science. So far, in real terms, no less than five times the amount of the Manhattan Project has been squandered on research into AGW. For that kind of money you can buy an awful lot of scientists prepared to suspend any belief they might have that global warming is anything other than man-made. ...

Mr. March, You linked the video of Hillary Clinton having what has been referred to as an 'outburst' on your site, yet, you did not explain the context. You omitted the truth and presented the situation as another crazy Clinton moment. You not only misportrayed the situation, you lost an opportunity to share/address the plight of women who have no rights in their country. I have been a long time reader of your March Report and have shared the Report with many people. I wrote to you addressing the Clinton video and have seen no retraction or explanation. I won't be referring anyone to this page anymore. My belief and trust that you maintain objectivity and research all sides has been permanently altered recently. Consevative or not, you have always seemed to work at being fair and true to journalism. I now am seeing you differently.

This reader has mischaracterized the report. In fact, we went out of way to add clarity to the situation. The copy proved by WMAQ-TV, the televsion station which provide the report through one of our syndicators, said "A Congolese university student seems to presume that Bill Clinton's opinion is more important than the current Secretary of State's." In order to portray the situation accurately, we rewrote the copy to read as follows (emphasis added): "As a result of a translator's error, a Congolese university student appears to presume that Bill Clinton's opinion is more important than the current Secretary of State's. Hillary explodes, and hilarity ensues. Oh, those wacky, wacky Clintons." That was all the information that was available on August 11, 2009, when we ran the story. Witty retort aside, we went out of our way to clarify the report. Further details from the State Department and the White House did not become available until the following day.

Another reader, who wish to be referred to by the nom de plume "Needles," has an unusual take on the Certifi-Gate crisis:

The birthers need to step back and consider the consequences of their actions. If Mr. Obama were to be declared ineligible, there are several possible outcomes. They could remove him from office and install Joe Biden as President. The argument would be made that if Mr. Obama was not eligible to run for President, then the ticket is invalid as well and Joe Biden should not be Vice President. The next person in the order of succession would be Speaker of the House; Nancy Pelosi. Because no eligible candidate received a majority of electoral votes, the selection of the President could be thrown into the House. Speaker Nancy Pelosi, would then be king-maker. The choices are Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi or someone Nancy Pelosi picks. Maybe it is best to leave the birth certificate matter alone.

Robert Jay March Responds:

Mr. Obama being declared ineligible does not legally invalidate Biden's election, provided he is qualified. Even if it did, the Constitution is too important to ignore; it is all that separates us from tyranny. Regardless of the consequences, if in fact Mr. Obama is ineligible, he must be removed. That said, all we have thus far is the preponderance of evidence leading to a likely conclusion, not conclusive facts. That is why the revelation of the long-form birth certificate is so important.

Finally, a third reader who wish to be referred to by the nom de plume "unihawker," writes:

Dear Mr. March, I was watching TV the other night and they showed a clip of Obama in Kenya during his trip there during the campaign. I am not sure if it was just some Freudian slip or not, but he said as he was waiving to the people greeting him, "Thank you, it is great to be back home". My question was, If he was not born in that country why would he call it home?

Robert Jay March Responds:

Good question, for which I have no answer. If this report is correct, it is yet another contribution to the preponderance of evidence that implies Mr. Obama is ineligible. A copy of the long form birth certificate would cost Mr. Obama $12; thus far he has spent $1.3 Million to avoid producing it. As in any investigation, follow the money: in this case, what money is being spent on to conceal.
