A great deal has been written about Pakistani metallurgist A.Q. Khan and his collaborators, but I have never found an account as detailed as the one in "Peddling Peril: How the Secret Nuclear Trade Arms America's Enemies," by the nuclear armaments expert David Albright. Albright holds master's degrees in physics and mathematics and has taught physics. For five years-between 1992 and 1997-he was part of the International Atomic Energy Agency's Action Team and in that capacity he spent time as a weapons inspector in Iraq. In 1993, he founded the Institute for Science and International Security, a nonprofit research organization based in Washington, D.C., of which he is president. In short, Albright is a perfect person to write a book like this.

First, there is ObamaCare, which violates the Constitutional principle barring the federal government from forcing citizens to purchase something. And no, this is not the same thing as states requiring drivers to purchase car insurance, as some of the intellectually-impaired claim. The Constitution limits FEDERAL government, not state governments, from such things. Second, sources state that the Roberts court has quietly accepted information concerning discrepancies in Obama's history that raise serious questions about his eligibility for the office of President. The charge goes far beyond the birth certificate issue. This information involves possible fraudulent use of a Social Security number in Connecticut, while Obama was a high school student in Hawaii. And that is only the tip of the iceberg. Third, several cases involving possible criminal activity, conflicts of interest, and pay-for-play cronyism could potentially land many Administration officials, if not Obama himself, in hot water with the Court. And finally, the biggie that could potentially send the entire house of cards tumbling in a free-fall is the latest revelation concerning the Obama-Holder Department of Justice and its refusal to pursue the New Black Panther Party. ...

Court Case Challenges Obama's Eligibility For Failure To Provide Proof Of Citizenship

Poll Shows Majority Wants Obama Records

"Our latest polling shows a majority of Americans -- 55 percent -- want Obama to release all records relating to his childhood and his education, including college records, Harvard Law School papers, passport records, travel records, and other similar documentation," pollster Fritz Wenzel of Wenzel Strategies said. "Asked what should be done should it be found that Obama does not meet the qualifications to be president, 59 percent said he should be removed from office, and 35 percent said all bills signed into law by Obama should be repealed," he said. The poll said when asked about whether Obama's background documentation - the school records, birth records and others - should be released, the 55 percent who said yes included more than 82 percent of the GOP, 55 percent of independents and nearly 28 percent of Democrats. Further, another 17.1 percent of Americans said Obama should release some of his documentation, making it nearly three in four Americans who want the president to unlock the steel door on some or all of his background information. ...

 Nine former employees of Vangent Inc. were charged with accessing Barack Obama's student loan records illegally. They have pleaded not guilty in federal court. Barack Obama's very first act as "President" made it illegal to release any of his records. "Executive Order 13489-Presidential Records," signed by Barack Obama on January 21, 2009, begins as follows: "By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America ..." If there is nothing to hide, why hide it? Yet, the very first thing he did as alleged-President was sign an Executive Order that locks all of his records, including his personal ones, away from public view. The fact that the White House chose to empower Dr. Donald Berwick to be the administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS is the agency that runs the Medicare and Medicaid programs) by recess appointment is particularly audacious. The recess appointment power was intended to be used for occasions when the Senate is out for months at a time. The Senate is currently out of session for just 11 days. Worse, the Senate majority has never even scheduled a hearing so that Dr. Berwick's rationing views could be given an "open" forum. In fact, Dr. Berwick has not even returned Senators' written questionnaires. The White House defends the move by claiming "there's no time to waste with Washington game-playing." But then why did the Obama administration wait until April 2010, a full 15 months after President Obama was sworn into office, to nominate Dr. Berwick? Is it because they did not want Dr. Berwick's well known and public support for rationing health care to affect the debate over Obamacare ...

Although "Blago", the foul-mouthed bouffant buffoon, is the main attraction of the Chicago production, the former Illinois governor's reluctant co-star is Barack Obama. He forms part of the proceedings each day even though the judge has spared him a personal experience. Blago had the power to appoint a new Senator when the seat was vacated because of Obama's presidential election victory in November 2008. That choice, the trial has confirmed, was Valerie Jarrett, who now rejoices in the title of senior White House adviser and Assistant to the President for Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs. Her qualification to be a Senator? Jarrett was a long-time personal friend of Obama and his wife Michelle and that seemed to be qualification enough for the man about to enter the White House. Obama's incoming chief of staff Rahm Emanuel spoke to John Wyma, a lobbyist, who then telephoned Blago's right-hand man John Harris to communicate that "the president-elect would be very pleased if you appointed Valerie and he would be, uh, thankful and appreciative." ...

Following the Rahm Emanuel playbook, Barack Obama is losing no time in taking full advantage of the Gulf oil spill crisis to further his far left agenda. When he was addressing the nation from the oval office last week his tone and demeanor were combative, as his speech was filled with words and phrases that alluded to warfare. Obama's speech wasn't so much about the Gulf's environmental disaster as it was about laying the groundwork to get a draconian cap and trade law passed through Congress, one that would relegate America to the level of a third-world country by raising the cost of living to such an extent that suicide might be a more attractive financial strategy. ...

In 1919, the regulation of a drug, alcohol, required a Constitutional amendment to be ratified by the States. Yet, today we have the FDA which regulates every "prescription" drug and the DEA which regulates every "illegal" drug. So how did we go from requiring a Constitutional amendment to regulate just one drug, to multiple Federal agencies that regulate drugs without any Constitutional amendment whatsoever? During the presidency of FDR, the Supreme Court drastically changed the interpretation of the Commerce Clause to empower Congress to regulate Commerce within the States. For the prior 150 years, the Supreme Court interpreted the Commerce clause to prevent unfair competition between the States. For the past 73 years, Congress has viewed the precedent from the FDR court as Constitutional authority to regulate whatever they please. ...

Obama cited China as a nation pursuing "clean energy", but the he said nothing of the new coal-fired plants to generate electricity that China has been opening every week in recent years and will continue to do in the years ahead. He did not mention that China is literally drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Cuba. Like every modern nation, China needs oil. Coal provides fifty percent of our electricity and it could provide even more; a source that could last for centuries, except that the Obama administration is doing everything it can to thwart the building of new coal-fired plants, to shut down coal mining operations. We are the Saudi Arabia of coal, yet this administration has declared war on the most abundant source of energy we have in America. ...

In an article that ran in Israel Today Magazine (IL) on April 29, 2010, Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit is quoted as having made the following statement on Nile TV (EG): "The American President told me in confidence that he is a Muslim." Needless to say, that article has set the internet on fire. We link to it here, so that you can read it in context for yourself. ...

The big problem for Obama is that the Gulf oil spill is his fourth major mistake. The first big mistake was the $787-billion stimulus package. The second was the appeasement of thug dictators, Islamist and leftist. The third mistake was ObamaCare. The fourth is the Gulf. The horrifying thing is that we Americans can't afford all these mistakes. We can't afford a "president" stuck on stupid. ...

When one looks carefully at the company with which Obama surrounds himself, and the Progressive Marxist agenda they share, it's entirely reasonable to be not only suspicious, but genuinely afraid of their collective capacity for inflicting a crippling and permanent level of damage to our glorious republic. This would have to include the possibility of outright destruction. In fact, many observers would argue that is precisely the goal. So Obama the Progressive marches on, in all of his ignominious glory, undeterred in his mission to unite the world in equality of tyranny, starvation, death, and destruction. ...

When "not illegal" is the best thing that the White House can say about the behavior of the president's top aides, it's not a good sign.
