At the request of some of our readers, discerning and literate bunch that you all are, commencing with the May 1, 2008 issue we began archiving the March Report in a form suitable for presentation. Be advised that some of the links to external sites on the archived pages will have gone dead. Morte. Kaputski. That being the case, archives will be deleted, or replaced with an image of the headline area only, as the page itself becomes useless (assuming that it wasn't to begin with, which may be presumptuous in and of itself).

The Next Senator Kennedy?
Maybe, Maybe Not.

by Robert Jay March

Back in the 1980s, a story was making the rounds on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. At a CitiBank branch on Broadway in the West 80's, a young woman tried to jump to the front of a long line, to get to the teller first. When an older woman on the line objected, the younger one allegedly said, "Do you know who I am?"

The younger woman was Caroline Kennedy, and that statement, "Do you know who I am?", seems to sum up her campaign to be appointed to the senate seat being vacated by Hillary Clinton.

Yes, I know who Caroline Kennedy is, but it doesn't entitle her to jump to the front of the line. Is she qualified to serve in the Senate? I don't have the foggiest idea, and it seems that no one else does either. Being the daughter of a former, iconic President does not qualify her to serve in the senate. Being the heiress to the myth of Camelot does not qualify her to serve in the senate.

All everyone supporting her seems to be able to cite as her qualifications is the fact that she served on the Board of Education, she's a Kennedy, uber-rich NY Mayor Mike Bloomberg supports her, she's a Kennedy, she's so rich she won't owe anyone anything, she's a Kennedy, and, oh, did I mention, she's a Kennedy.

When asked recently by an Associated Press Reporter why she had voted so infrequently, she replied "I was really surprised and dismayed by my voting record. I'm glad it's been brought to my attention." Say what? She really must reprimand her staff. One can't get good help these days, can one? What's a multi-millionairess to do?

Maybe she is qualified. May someone from the AP just needs to bring her qualifications to her attention. Maybe she'll be a wonderful Senator. Can someone just tell me why? "Do you know who I am?" just doesn't cut it.

On the other hand, it was good enough for her predecessor.

Carter redux: Obama camp 'prepared to talk to Hamas'

Suzanne Goldenberg -- Guardian (UK)
The move to open contacts with Hamas, which could be initiated through the US intelligence services, would represent a definitive break with the Bush presidency's ostracising of the group. Rod Blagojevich faces a state Senate trial that could remove him from office.

FOX News
The trial is set to begin Jan. 26. If Blagojevich loses, he stands little chance of getting the verdict overturned by the courts, which traditionally shy away from tinkering with impeachment processes ...

Blagojevich's trial promises drama

Judy Keen -- USA Today
The federal corruption case against Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich pits Joe Friday against Columbo. U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald has the strait-laced, just-the-facts-ma'am style of Friday, a cop on the old TV series Dragnet, says Patrick Collins, who worked with Fitzgerald for six years as an assistant U.S. attorney. Blagojevich's lawyer, Ed Genson, with his rumpled appearance and sardonic manner, is like the detective on the TV series Columbo, says Collins, who has opposed Genson in trials. ...

Part 52 Of Certifi-Gate, Our Special Report On Barack Obama's Legal Eligibility To Serve As President Of The United States

Robert Jay March -- March Report
Today is the day that the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) is expected to decide on Berg v. Obama. I'm not holding my breath, but it is a bit shallow. There's no point in my opining, because, if my opinion had any "standing," Obama never would have gotten this far.
How is it that you can't get a driver's license without presenting some proof of citizenship, but you can circumvent the Constitution and become President illegally without producing one? I mean a real, legally-sufficent, non-forged one. That's one of the questions address by Mark Alexander in his article, below.
We're also running a piece by Dr. Douglas W. Schell, Chairman of Restore the Constitutional Republic (formerly "Democratic Disaster"), in which he characterizes the Certifi-Gate Scandal as "the worst Constitutional Crisis since South Carolina seceded from the Union." I'd say, "dittos," but that's already taken.
Citizens For The United States Constitution have provided "The Obama Presidential Qualification Decision Tree," which we display below. I urge you to download, copy and distribute it; please credit them, if you do so.
We also have an opinion piece by Andy Martin, wherein he discusses the appointment Of Leon Panetta as CIA director, and what it portends for the country and the world if it goes forward.
Finally, a man named Larry Sinclair claims that he was Barack Obama's lover, and that Obama's Operatives have taken hostile action against him to shut him up. He had filed a suit in United States District Court, District of Minnesota. We have the documents here. The suit was dismissed on March 19, 2008 (Judge Raymond L. Erickson found that Sinclair had "no standing"), and he is now selling a book called "Barack Obama & Larry Sinclair: Cocaine, Sex, Lies & Murder" The March Report takes no position as to the accuracy of these allegations. On the one hand, Sinclair failed a lie detector test; on the other, the objectivity of the Polygrapher, Dr. Ed Gelb, has been challenged. We regard this story, as another site says, as "developing," and both men should be given the benefit of the doubt until all details are uncovered.

If you're here for the first time, and would like to see our previous coverage to get caught up, go to our
Certifi-Gate Page, wherein all the stories we have run thus far on this situation are gathered together ...

Top questions Barack Obama did not answer

Mark Alexander -- Enter Stage Right
To obtain a driver's license, one has to provide some proof of citizenship -- so why did you not comply as a presidential candidate? Surely you can influence the state of Hawaii to release your original birth certificate for public inspection, so this lingering question can be put to rest before your inauguration. We know that you hold constitutional rule of law in contempt, but in the unlikely event that it is revealed sometime after your inauguration that you are not a natural-born citizen, we would be faced with a serious constitutional crisis. When do you plan to release your original birth certificate? ...

60% Of Active Military Are Not Sure Whether They Can Follow Obama's Orders

Dr. Douglas W. Schell -- Restore the Constitutional Republic
The United States is facing the worst Constitutional Crisis since South Carolina seceded from the Union. It could well split the military between those who will stand by the Constitution vs. those who stand by traitors in order to keep their military offices. The major difference is that the secession was covered by the media of the day but this crisis is being hidden by the media or when covered, much misinformation has been provided to deceive We the People ...
