At the request of some of our readers, discerning and literate bunch that you all are, commencing with the May 1, 2008 issue we began archiving the March Report in a form suitable for presentation. Be advised that some of the links to external sites on the archived pages will have gone dead. Morte. Kaputski. That being the case, archives will be deleted, or replaced with an image of the headline area only, as the page itself becomes useless (assuming that it wasn't to begin with, which may be presumptuous in and of itself).

    March Report
NEW:Today, we learn that Supreme Court Associate Justice David Hackett Souter (who usually votes with the liberal wing of the court) has ordered that the defendants in Philip J. Berg v. Barack Obama, et al. "are required to respond to Berg's Writ of Certiorari" by Dec. 1. In fairness, the Attorney General has not yet made public such an unfounded assertion. (The AG, however, appears to have issued 'guidance' to the Department of Health, which would be discoverable under Part III, infra, see Chicago Tribune, October 30, 2008 that is palpably in conflict with the statutory language.) ...

The Election Results And The Certifi-Gate Scandal

    by Robert Jay March

As this is being written at 10:59 PM on November 4, the cable news and broadcast networks have just this minute projected Senator Barack Obama as the winner of the election; it seems that the next President of the United States will be a Democrat. But, which Democrat?

Supreme Court Associate Justice David Hackett Souter (who usually votes with the liberal wing of the court) has ordered that the defendants in Philip J. Berg v. Barack Obama, et al. "are required to respond to Berg's Writ of Certiorari" by Dec. 1. In simple English, that means Barack Obama may (or may not, depending on how Souter rules after receiving Obama's response and Berg's response to that) be required by the Supreme Court to provide valid documents that prove he is a "natural born" citizen of the United States and thus legally eligible to serve as President as required by Article II of the Constitution.

As we have conclusively proven (see our Certifi-Gate page), Barack Obama is NOT a natural born citizen of the United States, and thus is legally ineligible to serve as President. All of the "proofs" he has provided have been exposed by us and others as forgeries, by means of forensic analysis.

To those of you who have been sending us hate mail: THIS IS NOT ABOUT RACE. THIS IS NOT ABOUT POLITICS. THIS IS NOT ABOUT LEFT OR RIGHT. IT IS ABOUT THE CONSTITUTION.

I (Robert Jay March, editor and Publisher of The March Report) am a racially-mixed, non-Christian American. I even have Muslim members of my extended family, some of whom even have Hussein as their surname. For the record, I am a former Catholic who converted to Buddhism 37 years ago. I am not affiliated with ANY political party. My views are to the right on some issues, to the left on others (Don't get me started).

To the greater number of you who have shown their support with encouraging e-mails, or by subscribing to our Daily Alert Newsletter: take heart. This, too, shall pass.

It is a testament to the tremendous progress America has made over the last generation that centuries of prejudice have been swept aside, allowing a clearly color-blind vote to be cast. That is a cause for celebration. I am old enough to remember being horrified as I watched Bull Connor on 16mm film, as shown on the Huntley-Brinkley Report, turn high-pressure water jets and set attack dogs on civil rights protesters, who were only attempting to claim the rights every human being is entitled to, regardless of race, creed, color, gender, or sexual orientation.

The problem we face is, the candidate that has been elected, the candidate that has shattered that barrier, cannot legally serve.

We now have a constitutional crisis on our hands. Will Justice Souter ignore the Constitution and sweep this under the rug, or will he disqualify Senator Obama, thus leaving us with President Biden? How will the country and the world at large react if Barack Obama, the first person of color elected President, is disqualified, or, worse yet, removed from office after he is inaugurated? For the sake of the country, it would have been better if this had been resolved before the election. Paraphrasing Oliver Norville Hardy, "Barry, here's another nice mess you've gotten [us] into."

The best resolution to this, in my humble opinion, is a Constitutional Amendment to allow naturalized citizens to serve as President. Then, Obama can come clean, get naturalized, and face Arnold Schwarzenegger in 4 years.

    Solar Fern Car

Startled onlookers in Christchurch yesterday could have been forgiven for thinking they had seen a low-flying UFO. However, the origins of the sleek, solar-powered machine they saw are earthly, and its aims are earth-friendly ...

Giordano Bruno: Philosopher/Heretic By Ingrid Rowland

    Powells.com

Giordano Bruno is one of the great figures of early modern Europe, and one of the least understood. By the time Bruno was burned at the stake as a heretic in 1600 on Rome's Campo dei Fiori, he had taught in Naples, Rome, Venice, Geneva, France, England, Germany, and the "magic Prague" of Emperor Rudolph II. His powers of memory and his provocative ideas about the infinity of the universe had attracted the attention of the pope, Queen Elizabeth-and the Inquisition, which condemned him to death in Rome as part of a yearlong jubilee. Ingrid D. Rowland's pathbreaking "Giordano Bruno: Philosopher/Heretic " establishes him once and for all as a peer of Erasmus, Shakespeare, and Galileo, a thinker whose vision of the world prefigures ours ...

John Faherty and Shaun McKinnon -- Arizona Republic
Tony Hillerman, the best-selling author of Navajo Tribal Police mystery novels, died Sunday in Albuquerque of pulmonary failure. Important Announcement

Due to the tremendous response we have received, our server has been overwhelmed. For example, in the last week alone, our newsletter subscription list has increased from a little over 200,000 to nearly half-a-million. According to Quantcast's statistics, the MarchReport.com website now has nearly half the audience of The Drudge Report (45.9%, to be precise). Not bad for a website started less than 8 months ago!

We have ordered a new, faster server and another T-1 line to increase our ability to respond, but it will be 2 or 3 weeks before this new capability comes on line.

Until then please be patient; if you try to access MarchReport.com during a busy period, it may take a long time to download. Please be patient, as it's worth the wait. If you can't wait, try again later, as the are also dips in demand, when the page will come right up.

These problems will all go away in a few weeks.
