The aim of the March Report is to provide you with information on all sides of the important issues of the day. To the best of our ability, we will not skew our coverage to the left, right or center. We say "to the best of our ability" because, now matter how hard someone tries, absolute objectivity is impossible. For example (and in our opinion), a certain cable news outlet genuinely tries to be "Fair and Balanced," yet it is indisputable that their coverage skews to the right. Others' coverage skews to the left. Does this imply some grand conspiracy? NO! It simply means that, despite their good faith attempt to be balanced, their deeply held convictions cannot help but seep through. We all analyze the information presented to us through the filter of our own lifetime of experiences. A liberal, a conservative, a libertarian and a socialist could, in good faith, objectively analyze a series of news stories on a given issue, and arrive at four different opinions; and, they would ALL be right. In our presentation of the news stories we select to link to on the March Report, we hope to be as balanced as our abilities allow; but, those of us working on the March Report also have our own lifetimes of experiences, so please forgive the occasional lapse and call it to our attention. If you disagree, that's fine too, provided that you've done the work of actually evaluating and assessing the information. The March Report is a real news site, but with a dose of humor. The site slogan is "News and Information Presented Daily in The March Report, with Gales of Derisive Laughter." While not as serious as the Drudge report, neither is it a comedy site such as thedailyshow.com. Rather, we'd analogize it to a group of people discussing the news around the water cooler or office coffee machine. There's always one idiot who, while well informed, makes sarcastic comments a la Johnny Carson's monologue. The March Report strives to be that idiot. We hope that you'll make a habit of visiting us every day, 7 days a week. We also hope that you will support our advertisers, in that the revenue generated is what pays the bills, thus making the March Report possible. That said, welcome aboard. As Rick said to Captain Renault at the end of Casablanca, "Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship." They didn't agree, but each had earned the respect of the other. Philip J. Berg, Esq, Former Deputy Attorney General of Pennsylvania, alleges that Barack Obama is not eligible for the Office of the President of the United States because Obama was born in Kenya and is an Indonesian citizen. Judge Surrick ruled that Berg did not have standing to bring the case, and Berg is appealing to the Supreme Court.
    Predictably, since we began reporting on this issue, The March Report has been deluged with hate mail from people who, based on their comments, obviously did not bother to read what has been reported here. The comments can be distilled into 3 categories: those who called us racists and/or anti-Muslim bigots (and other epithets we cannot print here), those who claim that the issue was settled when Obama allegedly produced his birth certificate, and those who claim McCain is not a citizen, having been born in Panama.
    Our rebuttals: 1) Robert Jay March is himself racially mixed; although it goes back several generations, he is part Oriental. He also has Muslim members of his extended family, including several whose surname is Hussein. 2) We disprove the legitimacy of the alleged birth certificate below. 3) Under the terms of the Acquisition Of U.S. Citizenship By Birth Abroad To U.S. Citizen Parent Act, McCain is legally a Natural born citizen, fully qualified to serve as President, as described below
    The March Report has no horse in this race. The March Report is interested in only one thing: true stories that are interesting to our readers.
    If anyone reading this can produce actual, unrefutable proof that Senator Obama is legally eligible to serve as President, we will gladly run it here. If anyone in the Obama campaign or DNC can help disprove this story with factual data, please get in touch with us. Our objective here is simply to publish the truth, whatever that truth might be, no matter who's ox gets gored.
     When Senator McCain's citizenship was called into question, he immediatly released all relvant records. All Senator Obama needs do is release his records to settle this once and for all.
     If he's legally qualified, there is nothing hide; if not, he must hide everything. Thus far, he has done the latter. ...

A number of people e-mailed me with FactCheck.org's "proof" of the certificate. But let's not forget that FactCheck is owned by the Annenberg Foundation, the same foundation that gave millions of dollars to Obama and his unrepentant terrorist pal William Ayers for an "education" project. To me, that makes FactCheck ipso facto the least credible source of factual information ...

The file linked here is the "Certificate of Live Birth" produced by the Obama Campaign, claiming he was born in Hawaii in 1961. Please note that the type on the certificate was created on an IBM Selectric Composer, technology which did not exist until 1976, and that, in the lower left corner of the certificate, the revision date of the form is listed as November of 2001. Also take note of the fact that the word used to identify the father's race is "African." While that is the word that would be used today, in 1961, the terminology used would have been "Negro" or "Colored." Compare this to a genuine Certificate of Live Birth from the period, below ...

Note that the typesetting for this cerificate's blank form was done in metal, as was common at the time, using Futura and Bodoni, commonly used on business and official forms of the time, and the data was typed in on a silk-ribbon Royal typewriter, also common at the time ...
